I''ve owned a Marlin 336C in 35 Remington for many years. It has never ever let me down in its performance. Between my dad and I we harvested many whitetails with this GREAT hunting rifle and round. If you get one you will NEVER be SORRY.

I purchased my Marlin 35 336CS in 1983 when I was 14 years old and have killed numerous deer with it. Even at age 39, it is still pretty much the only rifle I use for Whitetails. I live in the Mountains of Southwest Virginia where the terrain is steep and rugged and very seldom do I encounter shots that range more than 100-125 yards. My 35 has served me well and for the type of terrain I hunt and the shot range, I would take it and the 200 grain soft tip remington ammo. I use over any 7mm, 270, 25-06, or 30-06. Not only does it shoot great, but the compact size of the weapon makes it much easier maneuver through tight quarters. Thanks for a great rifle and many years of enjoyment and satisfaction. Keep up the good work.

Great gun. Does not matter what ammo I feed through it, they all group 1 to 2 inches at 100 yards. A great deer and hog rifle!
