The Ruger Model 77/22 was conceived as an elegant small-game and target
rifle - a smallbore sporting rifle with universal appeal. Balanced and
stylish allows sports persons to maintain hunting skills during the
off-season with the 77/22; and when hunting season begins, provides
nearly the same familiar gun feel (MK II) and balance with the required
power you need.
A major advance in .22 Sporter design, the Ruger 77/22 is engineered
for greater accuracy, smoother operation, and dependability. Ruger's
patented detachable rotary magazine and three-position safety make it
perfectly balanced and easy to load or unload.
Ruger's latest rotary-magazine bolt-action rifle, using Hornady's new
.17HMR Rimfire cartridge, propels a 17-grain, .17 caliber high-
performance jacketed ballistic-tip bullet at a muzzle velocity of more
than 2,550 feet/second. This Ruger 77/17 rifle wholly redefines the
ballistic characteristics of the rimfire rifle.

I received my Ruger K77/22-VBZ 22LR from Sniperworld about a week ago and put a nice Nikon scope on it. I got my first chance to take it to my outdoor range today even though it was only about 26 degrees F. Shooting low cost Remington Thunderbolts off a rest, I could easily achieve 1 to 1.5 inch groups at 50 yards in spite of the frigid conditions. Trigger pull was a little high (and is non-adjustable) , but I expect it will improve with further use. The rifle has a beautiful laminated stock, a nice gray finish on all the metal parts, and a 10 round rotary magazine which is very convenient to load and eject. After just 1 day of use, I am very satisfied with this product.
